The new generation of fillers, such as Restylane, Perlane and Juviderm, consist of a substance that is normally found between cells and is used to fill and smooth skin creases and wrinkles. Results last approximately 6-9 months and recent studies show that there may be some long lasting improvement, possibly due to new collagen growth. Administering these fillers generally takes around 20 minutes with little to no recovery time necessary.
